BBC Studios Voice is run by BBC Studios (BBC Studios formed in April 2018 by the merger of BBC Worldwide and BBC Studios).

BBC Studios Voice was previously known as the BBC Worldwide Fan Panel, the name was updated in July 2018 following the merger. 

BBC Studios, a global content company with British creativity at its heart, is a commercial subsidiary of the BBC Group. BBC Studios award-wining British programmes are internationally recognised across a broad range of genres and specialisms. 


BBC Studios Voice is an online insight panel run by BBC Studios, a commercial subsidiary of the BBC Group. By joining the panel, you become part of a group of TV audiences and fans of BBC Studios shows, whose opinions and feedback will used to help shape the work we do.

As a panel member you'll be sent short surveys to complete about you and the BBC Studios shows you watch and consume.

Responses to surveys are anonymous and are used in combination with other insight to inform our work.

BBC Studios Voice is not a replacement for any of the BBC Studios social media sites (i.e.Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or You Tube) or any other BBC Studios related sites.

Joining BBC Studios Voice is entirely free, and you will not be asked for any payment.

BBC Studios Voice focuses on brands and TV shows that have a global audience or fan base and surveys cover a range of different genres, shows and topics. The BBC Global Minds panel focuses on our news content and BBC Insiders focuses on the programming and services available in America.

It's easy to join BBC Studios Voice, you just need to go our registration page to complete and submit a short registration form. Once we've received your form, we'll get back to you within a few days as to whether you've been successful or place you on a waiting list to join.

Once you've joined BBC Studios Voice, you will be sent survey invitations by email. Clicking on the link in the invitation will take you directly to the survey. All the surveys you have been invited to answer but have not yet taken will also appear on the homepage when you are logged into the panel.

There will be approximately 2 surveys sent to you every month, although it depends on your profile and the number of TV shows you have watched. You are free to take part in as many or as few of the surveys as you wish and can opt out completely by unsubscribing at any time.

A survey lasts approximately 5 – 15 minutes. We will try to ensure that all surveys will be as short, simple, fun and relevant as possible.

The email invitation to the survey will let you know the closing date of the survey, but generally 5 -10 days.

No, the information you share with us is purely for market research purposes. Under no circumstances will the surveys try to sell you something.

To become a panel member you will need to agree to our terms and conditions when you register to join the panel. These can also be viewed on the terms and conditions page of our website.

Click on the ‘forgot password' below the 'sign in' area and enter your email address. You will then receive an email with your password. Your username is the email address registered to the panel.

You need to login, then click on ‘My Profile' in your personal area. Simply enter your new password and then submit it. For your email address, enter your new address and click on ‘Submit'.

To change your personal information you must login and go to your personal area. You will then have access to all your data, which you can modify at any time. Remember to click ‘Submit' after modifying your details.

You can terminate your membership at any time by unsubscribing from the panel. This can be done by completing and submitting the form on the Contact Us page for the ‘I would like to unsubscribe' option. Alternatively you can click on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of emails from us or use the link in the "log out" box once you have signed in. The termination will take effect up to 10 business days after the receipt of your notice. Please note that we do not send unsubscribe confirmations by email.

BBC Studios Voice collects some personal data about each member for a number of reasons. First, it enables us to contact you about research surveys to take part in. Secondly, it enables us to contact you with just those surveys which are relevant to you. Thirdly, it helps us to analyse our survey data by for example, your gender, age, or what region you live in. When this is done, the results will be analysed only in aggregated form (i.e. everyone's answers added together) and it will not be possible for any individual respondent to be identified from the results. BBC Studios takes the security of your personal data very seriously. We will never pass your data on to third parties without your permission. For more on this, please see our privacy policy.

Our internal BBC Studios Insight team analyse the survey results to help us understand our audiences better and no individual respondent will be identifiable in any way.
